Hearts hosted its annual Barn Dance fundraising event on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at the Carriage and Western Art Museum in Santa Barbara. Over 150 guests in attendance enjoyed live music by Caught Red Handed, dinner, dancing, and a silent and live auction.

“The generosity of our attendees was so amazing!” Pamme Mickelson, Executive Director shared. “The evening was filled with joy, laughter, and caring stories by all – it was a magical evening and we are so grateful to the community of donors, volunteers, and new friends that enjoyed the event. The money raised will help us continue to make a significate, positive impact on our riders lives!”

At Hearts, we believe that all people must be given opportunities to reach their full potential, become as independent as possible, and be supported by an informed, sensitive, and respectful community. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the programs at Hearts, including its veterans program, Equine Services for Heroes, as well as its at-risk youth program, HorsePower. Hearts is grateful to all its wonderful supporters for joining them at the Barn Dance and for making it such a successful event.
