Miss Rake holds degrees in architecture and historic restoration from Columbia University. Previously working as an Editor with Conde Nast Publications in New York City, she is currently President of cool water design group, l.l.c. Miss Rake serves on the board of the Teddy Bear Children’s Cancer Foundation, is on the Emeritus Board of Domestic Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County, and has served on the GIRLS, Inc. One Hundred Committee, CAMA Fellows Board, Vestry of All Saints by-the-Sea, and is a Sustainer in the National Charity League. Though specializing in design and marketing, supporting services for families and their welfare is the primary mission of Miss Rake’s work.Lesley Torgeson, Member since 2011.
A fourth generation native of Santa Barbara and avid animal lover, Ms. Torgeson is thrilled to be part of an organization that focuses on the healing and enrichment of people via equine therapy. She is an active volunteer at Transition House and a past Executive Board Member of Leadership Santa Barbara. With a BS in Geological Sciences at UCSB , she has been instrumental in the start-up of several successful information technology firms in the Santa Barbara area. Currently, she holds a position with Yardi Systems, Inc., in IT Administration.Sandy Lovett
A Volunteer and Team Captain for four years, Ms. Lovett joined the Board of Directors in 2013. She enjoys the peaceful atmosphere at Hearts, being in the outdoors with the horses, and watching the riders’ smiles and accomplishments.
